Aerial Dance combines strength and elegance bringing more grace and creativity to your aerial practice. In this workshop, students will learn to use the aerial hammock to create elegant shapes and beautiful inversions from yoga-inspired poses to choreographed dance sequencing. The workshop will start with a warm-up emphasizing strength, flexibility, and will continue by introducing elements of progressive choreography with the hammock. This workshop is not appropriate for first-time flyers.
Please take at least 3-5 beginner aerial yoga classes or the Intro to Aerial Yoga Workshop and be able to do an inversion with the fabric at the sacrum without instruction.

With years of training in Aerial Silk & Aerial Hammock, Aysa is totally in love with the air, the fabric and the strength she gained from holding up her own weight. She is grateful to all the random turns life took that brought her to OM Factory. While there she completed the OFSY's 200 hour Vinyasa Teacher Training in summer 2014 with Amanda Winkler and Kirstin Trued and her Aerial Yoga TT with Amanda McDonald and Amanda Winkler. As her studies of Yoga became more profound, she grows roots in this practice. As her crazy love for the air is still strong, she praises and cherishes the ground.
Her main focus and personal interest lies in body alignment and empowerment. For Aysa, the best moments in a class are the ones in which students surprise themselves - pure joy!
